Our Story

We are a church aided school, closely linked to our local namesake, St. Andrew’s Church and proudly serving our local community. Our pupils range in age from 4 to 11, offering Reception Year through to Year 6.

St. Andrew's C.E. Primary School has existed in different forms since 1858. It was first built in nearby George Street in Hove and was originally for the parishioners of St. Andrew's Church, enduring for 119 years. In 1977 a new school building was erected just south of where our school stands now. This second school stood for 20 or so years until the current school was built and opened in September 2003, nestled in a friendly residential area, less than five minutes walk from bustling George Street and only half a mile from Hove Seafront.
