Strategic Development Plan - St. Andrew's Objectives 2022 - 2025 

Our Christian ethos and values and commitment to equalities and inclusion, will inform and shape the pursuit of the following objectives. 
 

1. To further develop and implement an engaging, innovative curriculum which enables all children to flourish:

a. Children to have more input to shape their own learning. 

b. Draw upon external expertise and experience by strengthening community and stakeholder engagement. 

c. Using the wider environment to support the development of ‘pupil passports’. 

2. To create a whole school environment in which children can, in meaningful and fun ways, develop their curiosity, risk-taking and problem-solving skills: 

a. To establish and implement an outdoor site development plan 

b. Redevelop communal spaces

3. To foster a culture of outstanding teaching and learning that provides children with memorable learning experiences and emotional skillsets to thrive: 

a. To further develop high quality CPD opportunities and experiences for all staff.

b. Facilitate regular opportunities for children to be reflective and share their learning experiences. 

c. Further develop core skills teaching which draws upon creative approaches in all areas of the curriculum. 

4. To become a centre of excellence that supports all staff to be brave, ambitious and reflective practitioners: 

a. Facilitate staff to reflect upon and share best practice.

b. Staff supported to explore, research and trial evidence-based delivery. 

c. Develop an HR support system in school.
