Reporting illness and unexpected absences

If you need to report your child as absent from school, please do so by 9am on the day. You can download and register the app here: studybugs.com/about/parents. If you are unable to use the app, you can still report your child’s absence by calling the school absence line before 9am on 01273 770882.

Requests for leave of absence 

Should you need to formally request a leave of absence in advance, parents and carers must complete a Leave of Absence Request Form. Hard copies of this form can also be requested from the school office. St Andrew’s follows the Department of Education and Local Authority guidance which means that leave will not be granted unless there are very exceptional circumstances.
