In the Community
Situated in the heart of Hove, St. Andrew's has an enviable location only moments from the beach and thriving Church Road. We have strong links with our local community through various events we host and participate in throughout the year and raise significant funds for local charity partners through our Break Out Days.

Summer Fair & Community Events
St Andrew’s School Summer Fair attracts over 1,000 parents, children, family and friends from the Hove community annually. Every year we have an exciting culinary line up including food stalls hosted by Brighton & Hove’s leading restaurateurs and pubs. And of course lots of stalls and live entertainment for adults and children with funds raised going towards initiatives for that benefit all children at the school.

In 2023 St. Andrew’s hosted the Hove Food Feast where several esteemed local restaurants united for a mini food festival on our spacious school field.

Brighton Festival Children’s Parade
A carnival of collaboration and imagination, The Children’s Parade is the perfect way to kickstart Brighton Festival. Every year St. Andrew's participate alongside 5000 local school children to open the Festival, with show stopping designs, self made costumes and sculptures.

Lets Dance
Coordinated by Dorothy Stringer School, Let’s Dance brings together youth dance from 75 schools, groups and colleges from Brighton & Hove and its surrounding areas to perform together on stage at the Brighton Dome. Every year St. Andrew's assembles a dance troupe to represent the school. Involving over 2,000 dancers aged 5 to 18, Let’s Dance plays a major role in encouraging young people to develop active lifestyles whilst having fun.

One Voice Festival
St. Andrew's joins schools from across Brighton and Hove to sing and celebrate the festive season. A family friendly evening that features a massed choir of over a thousand children performing alongside a host of talented musicians.
