Wellbeing
At St. Andrew's we prioritise the well-being of our children and staff to create a friendly and safe environment so that the children can focus on learning and getting the most out of their day at school.
In addition to teaching the children about the key pillars of wellbeing: good sleep, nutritious food, time outdoors, exercise, spending time with friends and having safe people to talk to - we also conducted a pupil-led survey to find out what the children feel is important to their wellbeing - find the full wellbeing audit here.
In Key Stage 2, we are proud to have pupil wellbeing ambassadors representing their classes, to promote wellbeing to the rest of the school. As well as being able to talk directly to teachers, the children also have regular opportunities to spend time with the school nurse team about any issues or worries they might have.
